I wonder who did that ‘crime’ of comparing someone like Christina Aguilera to Mariah Carey… but Christina seems to be more than happy with that.

She was compared ever since she debuted the musical landscape. She says,

“I get a lot of comparisons…And usually they go in two totally different directions: It’s either the Britney [Spears] comparisons from people who just look at things on the surface, or I get compared to people like Mariah Carey, which is amazing, and I think that comes from [the ones] who are more aware of my vocal abilities and what I can really do.”

I must say its quite early Ms.Aguilera for you to be happy with a comparison with Mariah Carey… I suppose you have a lot to improve before you come on par with Carey!

Being associated with a social cause and being socially responsible Celebs is the order of the day… We have Richard Gere, Angelina Jolie and so many other stars who are into activities that would help the world become a better place.

So how could our pop-tart lag behind… She has a unique way of Charity. Once as she was talking about her religious preferences, she said,

“I’m not really religious but very spiritual. I give money to this company that manufactures hearing aids on a regular basis. More people should really hear me sing. I have a gift from God.”

Hahahah I literally fell off my chair when I read that… What a unique way of charity… wonder if its charity to the people or charity to herself

Popstar Christina Aguilera has requested her fans to vote for this year’s US presidential election.

The singer insisted that everybody should let his or her opinion heard by voting this November.

She said, “Everyone that is able to have an opinion should let it be heard and should voice it.”

Well now that’s a good message Aguilera.

Christina Aguilera insists that the change in her life has left her feeling ’sexier than ever’.

The 27-year-old singer said, “I feel great. Sexier than ever.”

She adds, “I think it is sexier to be more knowledgeable about life, growing from your experiences, growing into a woman or person – if you do learn from your lessons, that is.”

Well good to see that she has not succumbed to drugs like her wild counterparts.

Christian Aguilera insists that for her being a mother is the most important priority, but that doesn’t mean that she neglects herself.

She says, “It is really important to me that I don’t lose myself.”

“I still do things that make me feel good. I let my son experience who I am – as an artist, as a musician, things that I love and am passionate about,” she added.

Christina recently performed at MTV VMA for her greatest hits album.

Well Christina Aguilera gave a rocking performance light night at the 25th MTV Video Music Awards.

The new mother made a comeback, as it was her first performance after becoming a mother earlier this year.

The Genie in a Bottle singer rocked the stage wearing tight black leather outfit and a black eye mask singing her new track Keeps Getting Better.

The only fault was the talented singer was lip-syncing. Still she rocked.

Britney Spears who was hoping to make a spectacular comeback with MTV’s Video Music Awards can sense danger now that her rival Christina Aguilera will be performing at the ceremony.

Earlier Britney confirmed her appearance for the Awards and announced that she would open the show with Russel Brand.

She added,  “MTV has long played an important role in my career. How can I not be there to kick off their 25th VMAs?”

Meanwhile show host Russel Brand gave a hint about Britney’s appearance at the show, “She’s not serving canapés or doing a bizarre haircut on herself! She’s not performing, but she’s certainly doing the show in a professional capacity.”

Well lets see who is more spectacular this time.

Christina Aguilera announced at a press conference that she will be performing at the 25th MTV VMA’s and her son Max will see mommy performing live on TV for the first time.

Christina who will be performing new track ‘Keeps Getting Better’ says, “You’re going to get a first look and a first listen at my new image and my new sound. The last album, the style and sound were about vintage glam - this one is all about the future.

“This will be his first time Max can watch me perform on television, but only for a little while because he’s not really allowed to watch television yet. I’ll make an exception for the VMAs.”

To which Russel Brand - who will be hosting the exclusive night said, “The VMAs are going to be so great that Christina Aguilera is willing to risk her newborn baby’s sight!”

Well with Aguilera’s oversized boobs, I think Max will not be the only guy to enjoy her performance.
