Britney’s new baby seems to be more than lucky as he has helped her end the long lost bitterness with Aguilera. Christina was spotted buying a $570 gift bag for Spears’ new son, according to Life & Style. An assistant helped pick up the bag, which included a hooded towel, overalls, slip­pers and a crockery set, reports the mag.

The gift was delivered to Britney’s Malibu home with a card reading: “Congratulations on the new addition to your family, love Christina and Jordan”. A brave effort on part of Christina to take the first step as some day this problem has to end. Both the girls are Women now with families so its time they “quit playing” “dirty” games. ..;)

Christina Aguilera is one honest and confident gal. She has showered praise on pop rival Paris Hilton for having the guts to try her hand at music. Paris had released her debut album ‘Stars Are Blind’ earlier this year but was critised by many on her musical effort.

But Christina begs to differ and says new artists are always welcome in the industry and she doesn’t mind the competition. She says, “There are always going to be other records and other singers out there, and years from now I’m sure there’ll be the next Christina Aguilera coming up”.

Christina Aguilera wants to change the gears of her career and shift to an acting profession. She was recently overheard talking about her acting aspirations in the October issue of Jane. She explains she doesn’t want to do the reality TV thing or a character that is playing herself. She wants something challenging and new.

Christina Aguilera has some wise advice for her fans too, “Never believe everything you read or see or hear.” When asked about documenting her life with husband Jordan Bratman for television, Christina says, “My marriage is sacred to me, and I feel that they would exploit it”. But while reality TV doesn’t appeal to the singer, acting does. “I’m going to read scripts while I’m on the road working this record,” she said. “I think so many people who start off as musicians and cross over just end up playing themselves. To me, that’s not a challenge whatsoever. I want to quote-unquote act.”

So all you guys out there, get ready to watch the sexy singer act in a movie in the near future. With her kind of hot looks and talent, we are sure she will go a long way …

Pop sensation Christina Aguilera made an effort to end all animosity between her and rival Britney Spears. The songstress sent over some baby presents to Britney Spear’s Malibu residence for Britney’s newborn son Pierce Sutton.

You would think that this gesture will see the end of their feud – but hey, who knows? Aguilera is reported to have spent $ 500 on the gift package – a decent amount to spend for a rival… The hamper had a nice, fluffy elephant, some porcelain crockery, a pair of slippers and a night lamp. Cute right? J

Christina and husband Jordan also sent Britney and Kevin a ‘congratulations’ card. After news that Aguilera herself might be pregnant, we’ll have to wait and see if Britney returns the gesture and forgets their past. Who knows? –Motherhood might just bring the two divas together!
