Christina was surprised about the media reaction to Lance Bass’s recent public revelation that he’s gay!She said recently: “I’m shocked that it’s a big deal! I’m shocked that people are shocked.”She also criticised the current US debate regarding gay marriage:

“I think it’s really unfair that there has to be some kind of standard for marriage.” “Marriage should be about celebrating two people’s love for each other. It shouldn’t have anything to do with someone’s sexual preference.”“Europe is a lot more open when it comes to sexuality. I think that with the history of European culture, there is a lot more openness to being provocative.” “I’m just all about no judgement and [having] equal rights.”

Is there anything left to be said…..

Can anyone please explain whats this whole thing of celebs and their dogs…Paris Hilton wants to be buried with them …Charlize Theron wants to act with them and now Christina Aguilera says she doesn’t wanna have babies yet coz she is too busy looking after her dogs…where’s the connection!

The singer insists she and her husband, music executive Jordan Bratman, are planning to start a family but at present they have their hands full with their pooches.She said: ‘One day we want to have the kids and start a family but I’m very focused on my career right now. Besides, we have three dogs so we already have a mini family to take care of.’ Christina recently admitted she is sick of people asking her when she is going to have a baby.

Ok Christina we won’t trouble you…But please explain the connection between Babies and pets!!….Till then all I can say is that although it is said that every dog will have it’s day ….in Hollywood everyday is a dog’s day..IT’S A DOG’S WORLD AFTERALL…no pun intended!!

The New York Times has described her voice as striking!In 2003 she was placed 5th in MTV’s countdown for the “22 greatest voices in music”.

She reportedly has a 4 octave vocal range which needless to say is awesome!!

However she has admitted that she isn’t very close with Britney!!

Christina is said to have denied reports of a supposed fued with Britney by pointing out that they exchanged gifts for each other’s weddings.

Christina Aguilera has given up junk food - because she is paranoid she will have a heart attack.The ‘ singer is a self-confessed junk food addict, but insists she only eats it very rarely she is too worried about the health implications of munching on it.
Christina, who is married to music executive Jordan Bratman, puts herself through a gruelling exercise regime and sticks to a reasonably strict diet to make sure she doesn’t get fat.She said : “I am a junk food lover but I’ve had to curb that quite a bit since I’m not a teenager any more. I think it’s important to take care of yourself, especially as a woman. Mostly I think it’s really about curbing that so you don’t get heart disease or cancer or anything like that.

She added: “I’m just trying to take care of myself, trying to get as much rest as possible, exercising every day and being healthy and getting my beauty sleep. I do a lot of weight training and some cardio - I like feeling strong

Great decision….But we think that she should relax coz if she gets so stressed SHE SERIOUSLY might suffer a HEART ATTACK!!

On the double album, which sold 342,000 copies during its first week in stores, the 25-year-old singer channels vintage soul, blues and jazz, and some songs feature strings, choirs and horns. Aguilera has cited Billie Holiday, Otis Redding and Ella Fitzgerald as some of her compass points for the album. Furthermore, the first-week sales for Back To Basics are the most for a solo female artist since Mary J. Blige moved 727,000 copies of The Breakthrough in its first week.

Friends and enemies are never forever especially in the entertainment industry.The latest foes turned friends are Britney Spears and Christian Aguilera. With a recent exchange of honorary gifts, U.S. pop singers Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera have ended a musical feud that raged for over a decade. Since the two singers debuted in the ’90s, a feud has brewed between them — and only came an end recently after each singer presented the other with a gift for a momentous moment in her life.”She got me a really beautiful crystal vase and a little crystal bucket that you can put … champagne in (when I got married),” said the 25-year-old Aguilera. “And when she had her baby, I sent over a huge baby basket. I didn’t know whether it was a boy or a girl yet, so I sent over just something really sweet, something cute.”

Since Spears debuted in 1998 with her album, “Baby One More Time,” and Aguilera’s self-titled debut album was released a year later, the two stars reportedly feuded over such issues as their public images and celebrity boyfriends like Justin Timberlake.

Christina Aguilera and Paris Hilton had a competition of a different kind…DANCE.Thursday at Hyde, Paris Hilton’s music producer Scott Storch hosted Jenna Jameson, Brandon Davis and Paris Hilton at his booth. Paris was drinking right out of a Grey Goose vodka bottle and getting wilder by the minute.

Paris Hilton soon started dancing on the table for maximum exposure. When, Christina Aguilera and her dancers . who were at the next table saw Paris table dancing they leaped on their own table for a dance off.

The dance contest- lasted until the girls collapsed in a sweaty heap.

Christina Aguilera’s former producer Scott Storch who recently called the singer “pathetic” after she mocked him in a song from her new album, must have enjoyed the dance off.The pair fell out and Storch walked away from Aguilera’s CD Back to Basics, reportedly because she failed to send a private jet to fly him from Florida to Los Angeles, where she was recording.

On the track “F.U.S.S.” Aguilera signs off with the line, “Looks like I didn’t need you / Still got the album out.”

That really must have been a sight to see!gosh..we missed it!;)

Christina Aguilera and The All-American Rejects will be among the performers at the 2006 MTV Video Music Awards.

The awards show will air live from New York’s Radio City Music Hall on Aug. 31 , with Jack Black as host. Previously announced performers include Beyonce, Panic! at the Disco, T.I., the Killers, Ludacris with Pharrell, the Raconteurs and Justin Timberlake.

The show will include appearances by Jennifer Lopez, Jessica Simpson, Chris Brown, Fall Out Boy, Rihanna, Jared Leto, Busta Rhymes, Shaun White, Ne-Yo, Missy Elliott, Lil Jon and Nick Lachey.

Christina Aguilera is nominated for video of the year for “Ain’t No Other Man.” She’s also up for best female video, best pop video and best choreography in a video.The All-American Rejects are nominated for best group video and best editing in a video for “Move Along.”Timberlake, who snagged a best male video award in 2003 for “Cry Me a River,” will perform his new single, “SexyBack.”

This is surely one event to watch out for!
